SUMMER THURSDAYS HOOK-INS


Every Thursdays we gather at the little Library in the cove for a lesson -meaning HELP - with what ever we are hooking at the moment . . .. Cousin Pat of Little Rock Arkansas,  was hooking a magnificent fine shaded rug. . . while  Mary  of TO was hooking this old pattern and having difficulty  . . .keeping it primitive and not getting into the fine shading of leaves.How lucky I am to visit with family and rug hooking friends each summer!!!!
A couple of weeks ago we had Shelagh Rogers of the CBC radio show up!What a surprise!we talked about the Wonderful Deanne Fitzpatrick and how she makes the best OATCAKES  EVER!(find recipe on her site . .)  www.hookingrugs.com
