KITCHEN COOKIE DAY after RUG HOOK-IN G



Valentine Sugar Crisps


Ungreased   cookie sheet   350F > 10 –12 mins.
4 cups sifted all-pur FLOUR
1/4 teas  SALT
1 cup  BUTTER
1 cup  SUGAR
2 Eggs
1 teas Vanilla
1/2 teas  Baking  Powder    
*In a Bowl: > Sift  4 cups Flour,
1/2 teas Bk Powder  . . .and Salt . .tog.
In another Bowl: >cream Butter & Sugar  together until light and fluffy
Beat in : > the 2 Eggs .. one @ a time then . .
Add : > .the  1 teas Vanilla
Gradually
add to Creamed mixture : 1/2 the FLOUR
Blending WELL after each addition . .keep 1/2 the flour out incase it is too much . .knead by hand @ end then . . .
Turn out onto : >a lightly floured board and knead into a ball.
Refrigerate > several hours ,if dough is to soft to handle . .then  divide into 4 portions
ROLL each : >out to paper thiness & cut into shapes
Place on : > Ungreased   cookie sheets
BAKE : >    350F > 10 –12 mins.
