Hazelnut Stars Shortbread

This is a Dutch-Swiss Christmas cookie
 3 OZ . .or * 90 gms Dark Imported Chocolate . . . .. . .. . . . 1/2 cup unsalted BUTTER (softened)
1/2 cup Sugar 125 ml
1& 1/2 cups all-pur FLOUR

pinch of Salt
3/4 cup toasted then ground HAZELNUTS
Toast nuts 8 mins on tray 350f > WATCH OUT they burn easily!!
Preheat: oven to 350 F * (160 C).
Melt chocolate :> in the Top of a Double Boiler
Let cool :> to room temp
Grind nuts: > in cuisinart
Cream together:> in food processor:> BUTTER + SUGAR . .then
ADD : > the melted Chocolate and mix well
PULSE : > just until dough holds together
ROLL OUT Dough:
to less than 1/4" ON a lightly –Icing Sugared surface( it is NOT necessary to CHILL dough before rolling it)
CUT OUT cookies: using STAR shape and Place them on slightly greased cookie sheets or parchment paper..
BAKE : > 325 F oven for 10 – 12 mins
makes 50 – 60 cookies
Let cool before removing to racks to cool
